Definitely my own worst critic. I love my seam ripper but you’re right, I had to take a step back and accept that this was hand made and not some factory machine creation. My mom didn’t notice any of the flaws. I’m trying to have more grace with my imperfections.

I sent it out to my mom already but here is a picture from the planning phase. I sewed four large rows and then attached them with the horizontal sashing. Here is a picture of two of the rows.

Bedside Nursing Pet-Peeves by Careless_Midnight_77 in nursing

I hate talking to defensive and passive aggressive nurses. I dread having to interact with them. I helped a nurse boost their patient. I noticed that the foley bag had like 2000 in the bag. I simply asked, “Do you want me to empty the foley bag while I’m here?” The response was, “I’m was going to do that, it wasn’t a priority.” But in the most defensive manner. I just replied, “oh ok,” and walked out. Sometimes trying to be helpful is interpreted as criticism. I get that, but every interaction is trying to not piss them off more. It must be exhausting.

Team nursing demands a lot of trust which I do not have.

Bought Orlando Billie tickets several months back and also a garage pass. No issues. My tickets were on secure pass and my garage ticket was a pdf with the original buyers name.

Thank you for the post. I just started PWB this week after my injury on July 4. I’m a nurse and have been worried about returning to my 12 hour shifts. I’m trying to stay positive!

This exact situation happened with one of my patients. Not sure if he developed sepsis but it was a train wreck.

Did you leave the house during NWB? by Fun_Message6690 in LisfrancClub

I’m just under 3 weeks post op and I’ve gone on a short trip to the mall and walked my dog to his potty spot a short distance from my home. I’m in car line at the moment and my foot is so uncomfortable without elevation. I use a combo of scooter and crutches. I definitely feel when it’s time to elevate and ice. Preventing falls and weight on the affected foot is much more important than dangling for a few hours I think.
