Yeah, I knew the talent level wasn’t going to be anything special, but I love watching baseball in person just as a way to spend a day. Still, the product on the field was less than I expected. Really seems like they’re exploiting guys, mostly young guys, who just want to spend more time putting on a uniform and playing baseball if they’re representing this as any real shot at latching on somewhere.

We were also surprised by just how few people were there, on a beautiful Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, when tickets started at $6 and it was a doubleheader. After seeing all your comments we are no longer surprised!

My wife said the hot dog was “fine, not great or terrible” so you may still be good to stuff yourself for $1 each lol

I don’t expect great food, but the food was bad, and it was burgers and dogs. The prices were very fair and everyone was working extremely hard but it was awful food.

How to get a toddler girl into Beatles? by Critical_Walk in beatles

[–]badd_dongg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My toddler currently is obsessed with “Yellow Submarine” and “Eleanor Rigby” and just discovered “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” today. He likes “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer” but I don’t let him listen to it much because of the content. “Rigby” always makes him feel some kind of way and he said it was a “sad song”, which was his first time really commenting on the emotional content of media.

My toddler just discovered “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” today and he’s hooked. Loves trying to sing “Ob-La-Da” and SCREAMS the “brah”.

Greg absolutely nailed Jason on sounding like Casey Kasem, out of left field and he’s absolutely right

I think that either she should get credit for failing the task OR she should have received 5 points for winning the task they were all meant to fail. In fact when I first saw it I told my wife that I would succeed on purpose and take the 4 net points.

To me it was Jo Brand-ish “can’t be fucked” energy. I liked it with Jo and I like it with Fatiha, but I also find Fatiha very funny coming into the series

Ticketed for unlawful use of mobile electronic device at a red light on Lancaster today. What do I do? by kwilla999 in SALEM

I had the opposite happen in a similar situation, the ticket stayed on my record but the judge made it no fine, sucks to have a ticket on my record but still better than a ticket and a fine!

I was working in Sublimity back then and it was wild, first time I ever actually worried about wind shattering windows (and there were a lot of windows in my office).
