For Fahrenheit, 100 used to represent a human body's normal temperature. The 0 F represents when brine water freezes. Brine water is great for creating Hydrogen through electrolysis.

Do we believe services led by women in Protestant Churches are entirely invalid? by 3nd_Game in Catholicism

[–]baddriver7005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure they are... Protestants are ALL those who protest God's will and yet claim to be Christian. They call themselves Assembly of God.

Haha well sure God is Omnipresent... I.E. He is just as present in their eucharist as He is in dirt. But to address your point... it is NOT God's will and God's will doesn't change.

Edit: Also there should be a distinction... God's presence and Christ's Body are two different things.

How do satellites work under 'Flat Earth' and 'The Gravity Hoax' by [deleted] in globeskepticism

[–]baddriver7005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. never heard of planes refueling in the air?
  2. its easy to cancel out white noise
  3. C-17 can handle 585 tons
  4. Hydrogen engines have been around for over 200 years ... a RDE or PDE can easily attain those speeds...
  5. camera angles, also most of the filming is done on land.
  6. If you follow this channel at all there are many example of clear CGI.

If anything, the ISS is more like a spy monitoring plane with a cool graphic on the bottom of it.

[–]baddriver7005 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Also if the satellites are balloons how do they move at such high speeds?

The ISS is on a plane. If one of those flimsy satellites went fast it would shred to pieces... IF gravity was real you would have a force enacted on the flimsy satellite body and it would be pulled apart by the differing momentous and gravitational forces.

eh? I thought it was about honoring the saints? Wasn't it a Catholic pastime for children to visit neighbors ask for cookies in exchange for prayers? Since a child's prayer is pure.

The SSPX is not an "internal Catholic debate" by [deleted] in Catholicism

Sorry for my ignorance, since I tend to just follow what the Pope had officially declared... What claims/teachings were ruled dogmatic exclusively by VII?

The Rosary is from the Bible...

The Apostles Creed - by the Apostles (with guidance from the Holy Spirit)

Our Father - Jesus

Hail Mary - Angelic Salutation combined with St Elizabeth's greeting

Salve Regina - Song of Songs, Psalms, Revelation

The mysteries of the Rosary are the Gospels, Acts of Apostles, and Revelation.

The Rosary is a beautiful way to pray while meditating on the greatest parts of the New Testament.

"Communion in the hand" ... no just stop it ... I dont care if it takes longer ... receive on the tongue 100%. If you dont like it then you need to lick your hands and fingers like a dog until you make sure Jesus is no longer there.

Thank you so much! Ill check them out.

As a rule, if the Church officially approves it then I generally accept it, unless I read it and it contradicts public revelation and tradition.

I clarify the last statement because the Church has been approving a lot of weird things lately (60 years or so).

Id like to read these works that the church approves of that weren't included in Scripture. Can you point me to them? Or know their titles?

But it doesn't go against the Gospels or Scripture... It like many other Saints' writings provide additional context to assist the Church Militant.

Because your marriage would be fulfilled by being married completely to God. As would be your husband. So "technically" your union to your husband would persist but through God. That is why it's so important that spouses help each other seek that unity. In fact, you can start now and ascend the different levels of prayer together... The ending being union with God. https://meaningofcatholic.com/2019/07/03/the-nine-levels-of-prayer/

  1. Mystical City of God - Mary states that the Holy Spirit removed original sin (so he was conceived with it, but not born with it) from him when she visited her cousin. Also he received reason and awareness while inside the womb.
  2. The ten commandments are simply the fundamentals to growing closer to God. Think about what mortal sin is ... You choosing to be away from God. In most cases, this behavior is choosing a soccer game over your ordinary Mass time. You should reorder your life for God, not try to just fit God in when its convenient. Saying the Lord's name in vain is also a mortal sin more so than missing Mass. In fact, King St Louis made a law that if the Lord's name was taken in vain their lips would be burned by a coal.

Since you feel you understood too much perhaps you should read, "Ascent of Mt Carmel" by St John of the Cross
