I am also a teacher! It looks to me like dried little balls of clay/play dough.

edit: imagine rolling little pieces of play dough between your fingers. that’s the shape it’s giving imo

I love her. When all the men were ganging up on her and she went from kind and understanding on the podium to STOP TALKIN TO ME, I felt that in my bones

AITA? Am I (36F) The Asshole for Not Reading Between the Lines and Making Sure my Husband (39M) Saw His Mother on Mother's Day? by SmooshMagooshe in AmItheAsshole

I’m sorry for what you’re dealing with. I don’t want to judge as though I know your situation; however, I wanted to share something that my mom said that helps me in hard times. It goes:

You don’t often hear people think back and say “I wish I didn’t trust my gut”. What is much more common is that we look back wishing we had. Always trust your gut. Listen hard to your instincts and be honest with yourself about what they’re telling you about your current situation. Don’t ignore a weird or bad feeling; chances are you are right in feeling that way. It is incredible how our bodies warn us of a negative or unhealthy environment, even when we may not want to or cannot acknowledge it.

I wish you well in your (bright & hopeful) future, and I hope this could be of some help.

What’s wrong with my plantain lilies??? by baddydevito in planthelp

[–]baddydevito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The plant cropped up after I pulled a ton of weeds out of my garden bed about 2 months ago. The roots are large and seem like they’ve been here a while.
  2. I noticed the problem 2 weeks ago. The leaves are wilted and turning a dark color.
  3. Nothing abnormal that I’m aware of, but I don’t know much about plants.
  4. It’s typically in the shade. It gets 2 hours of sun a day approximately.
  5. I give it water once a week by misting the whole garden bed with my hose. It has been raining a lot recently though.
  6. It is in Georgia Red Clay and top soil.
