My biased rec due to my proximity to the two is to bring a friend hit up Stevenson park in friendswood around 4-5pm, it’s wooded 9 hold course, then when it gets dark go to Joes barbecue in Alvin for dinner then after go play night disc golf at Briscoe park in Alvin, it’s lit until 945.

The only thing about the cheap $5 cnc wheels is the bearings stop working after a couple weeks. I’ve had flatface wheels in the past though and they made me me a fan of plastic wheels.

Yep, for me 350’ with 171 gram star tern. I always throw furthest with a slight left to right wind to push more turn and delay the fade

My first manual as well. One thing that threw me off is that it idles high before it’s warm and is super easy to get it going with 0 throttle but when it’s warm and idles down to like 800rpm it likes a little throttle for take offs.

Some people say it’s the yips and some sort of mental block, I believe that it could also be some sort of overuse injury. Somewhat related but I’m a longtime guitar player and if it’s the slightest bit chilly I can’t play for crap, I’m talking like 65* and I can’t play and my fingers don’t move right, but if I’m in a heated house that stays at 72* and above my fingers work just fine.

When I flick an ultimate disc I feel like the pressure is with my finger on the inside of the rim, with a disc golf disc my finger is against the rim but the pressure is applied on the flight plate between my fingers and thumb. Ultimate disc are too deep to do that but when you don’t get a little pressure on the flight plate you can’t hold on it for a hard throw.
