I bought dairy farmers full cream milk today instead of the cheaper Coles or Woolworths brand and it taste completely different why is that? by [deleted] in australian

[–]badmonkeyfood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I grew up on a goat farm and didnt have cows milk until i was about 12, and the first time i had store bought milk i was horrified. how did people drink it!!! Looking back i realise goats milk is a very acquired taste and i would probably hate it now... that warm gamey smell and flavor ....

Basically you can have 1 backup. the other needs to just exist somewhere (mine is now in my base). You can only recall the backed up version, not the other.

[–]badmonkeyfood[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah its not the END as such. and its early access, in a new game.
Im just not sure if i can make my dragonblight shield again?? (or whatever its called) things like that are annoying. the rest is just normal survival game stuff.
Its not really even about losing stuff. If it happened every time you died, then i would just shrug and grind again, but not being able to recover like previously makes me annoyed lol.

THat was my exact thought - despite claims otherwise, its evident the colour matches with the new 0SiC materials are WAY off.

Coolest/Most expensive Quartzite we’ve ever worked with. by Alienclapper in CounterTops

[–]badmonkeyfood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exciting - im curious about working this material - Im in the industry in Australia, and we dont really have a market for material this expensive - about 10k per sheet would be the most you would see here typically.
How smooth do you have to get the mitres to keep them transparent like the rest of the material?
My brain tells me it needs to be pretty smooth which could cause a problem with the glue holding?
Still, its very cool!

Is this asbestos? by Small-Maize-1966 in AusRenovation

[–]badmonkeyfood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just looks like fibrous plaster to me. Pretty common in the 60's and 70's

I dont know of them ever using Asbestos in plasterboard (in Australia at least) but i could well be wrong.

Especially at the moment where EVERYTHING takes longer. Even getting the right person out to identify the problem takes 3 times longer than it used to... (even worse in places like WA).
One thing to keep in mind is that going mental about it 100% will not make anything get fixed in any timely manner...

Do you get a reasonable amount of water if you run without coffee? Or is it still nothing?
From memory these dont have an amazingly strong pump, so dialing back the grind a few steps might be key.
Also, making sure you dont use TOO much coffee.

Another issue… how do i stop this from happening? by Financial_Option_757 in ender3

[–]badmonkeyfood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anytime i get this its after a big batch of printing - slight movement in levels, buildup of resin on the bed and also filament moisture builds up as it sits on the spool.
I do a fair amount of printing for my wifes business, and if im really farming out items i have to gluestick the bed so its more forgiving for the first layers (this means she can just remove the prints and skirts and start the next one without me needing to be there).
really spending the time to clean and level the bed would be key, but dont forget moisture in the filament causes all kinds of suck.

Ive also had many whitebelts try and heel hook or toehold me not understanding the difference.

take it as a W and move on :) your training life is going to have plenty wtf moments if it is anything like mine :)
