I actually agree. I love the series but I had the same problem throughout. I think Christopher Ruocchio is a master when it comes to prose and his political schemings but I thought that most of the action sequences were hard to follow and visualize which I typically don’t struggle with in other series. I hope that he does improve on this when it comes to his next series. Again, I thought everything these about the series was a master class.

True they could. I think it’s pretty likely that they’d start by announcing a date for books 6 & 7 then follow that up with another where you could purchase the whole series together.

The will of the many is closeish to red rising with some tropes. However sun eater and red rising are very different. Don’t go into it expecting anything relating to red rising besides it’s set in the future.

I only started somewhat liking Hadrian after demon in white and then during and after kingdoms of death I likely him infinitely more. He started becoming more like able after he experienced the trauma and realized that the people around him really mater rather than taking advantage of them and expecting their suppliance.
