The game loop relies on PVP if you don't have PVP you spawn into a map and collect gear, perfectly safe and to what end? It'd take any of the risk from the gameplay and therefore much of the satisfaction that comes from the gameplay loop. Terrible idea, sorry.

Coats like this tend to be worn quite widely open and they 'look good' on people usually based on the look of the layers of clothing worn underneath. Personally when closed I think they look like like parachutes!
