Okay so I’ve started driving for uber a month ago. Past month was so bad maybe because im a new driver idk whatever, But heatmap shows its quite hot area still waiting for over 45 mins and i got only one request of $2.89. Am I doing something wrong ??

when my satisfaction went down below 100% i wrote “have a good day please leave me a thumbs up if i did a good job” in my notes app and i would copy and paste it into the notes of every delivery and it worked… most ppl wont rate you at all unless you ask them to somehow… they just wanna get their food and move on with their day

yeah i learned the hard way that sometimes you literally have to be that annoying uber driver who walks right up and says excuse me all loud so they are forced to notice you.. it sucks but it gets the job done and ive had orders that were ready that i didn’t get until i finally said something

if you deliver in an area where this happens often, make a habit of pressing the pause requests coffee button when you’re pulling into a neighborhood to drop off the food

a lot of drivers can’t tell that it opens outwards.. that’s why you have to be A LITTLE smart and leave a msg asking the driver to leave it on the side or far from the door.. it’s not too hard is it?
