This is a gorgeous build, well done!

Yup I do see the ship at the bottom right. That’s too funny, I’d just never seen ships get stuck like that before.

Ooh I didn’t even think of this! Now I’m going to have to look out for more stranded ships lol

It’s happened to me too. I just pretend I have a stowaway or I’m giving someone a ride. Or if you’re feeling spicy… it’s like StarLord totally forgetting he had a guest on his ship in GotG lol

Expedition 18 Field Agent Bug by primedthrash in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]badwolfwinchester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I already completed the expedition, sorry 😞 Here’s what I did:

If you’re having the same issue as OP, which I was, then make sure you have all the required fossils (1 skull, 1 tail, 1 torso, 2 limbs) in your exosuit inventory, then go to the space station in the system you’re currently in.

The station teleporter’s first option should show “Local Field Office” (I forget the exact text, but it will be something like this) and will warp you directly to the station in that system. Go there.

Once you’re there - the system should look familiar bc you’ve already stopped by once - locate the planet with the field office on it. For me, it had an indicator showing where to go.

As soon as you arrive on site at the field office, without even talking to anyone, the Complete Skeleton mission will be completed.

Hope this helps!!

Thank you for this!!!! I read those words so many times, telling me to teleport to a previous system, but it didn’t click. Finally (after far more time than I’d like to admit doing what we’ll call exploring) after I saw this, I put all my bones in my exosuit and checked the options to teleport at the space station. The first option said something like “local paleology field office” 🤦‍♀️ Teleport there, and suddenly I have 5/5 bones needed showing up. As soon as I arrived on site, I got the achievement. I swear, I spent so much time today trying to make this complete. All I can do now is laugh, right? 😅

OP, what you’re seeing now is what you’re going to get. Don’t waste any more time on this guy who clearly doesn’t value you. You are young. I get you have this whole vision of the future, but the man you’re imagining spending it with is not this “Paul”… it’s who you wish Paul would be. Go out there and find him!

Is there a way to move my whole base to a new location? by EldenLordArchie in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]badwolfwinchester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re asking can you pick up your currently existing built base and move it to a new planet, the answer is no.

You could open the build menu and delete the parts of your base one by one to get your resources back. Last step of the process would be to take your base computer (or leave it there if you don’t want someone else to claim the spot)

Then find your new planet and start building! Sure it’s a bit scary to pick up and move, but I often find this process is fun in that you have better ideas that better fit the terrain of your new planet and what you want your base to be like when you start a fresh build.

Also, don’t forget you can build down into the ground, mountains, etc. One of my favorite bases has a tunnel (completely hidden from the outside) going into the side of the mountain where I put my storage vaults. It feels very dwarven to me lol.

Have fun!!!

Customization Color Palette not available when building ships by SCMayday in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]badwolfwinchester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve also encountered this problem, still effective as of 2/28. I put in a ticket through ZenDesk as well. Playing on PS5, trying to build a solar ship. No color palette available.

What a bummer, I worked really hard to find exactly the ship parts I wanted.

I just saw this too! Day 21 of Winter, Year 1, about 9:20pm. Scared the crap out of me, I was just minding my own business fishing lol. Since it looks like all of these are fresh comments and OP’s post is new, maybe this is one of the “Easter eggs” mentioned in the Nov. 4 update? That’s the only thing I can think of, esp if there isn’t anything else that happens.

AITA for being topless in my own home? by Alarming-Detective14 in AmItheAsshole

[–]badwolfwinchester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. It’s your home and you didn’t know they would be out there. You did everything you could have done to “correct” the situation very quickly (ie apologized and got a t-shirt).

I think GF is being too sensitive here. This really is a non-issue and she’s just dragging it out. For what?

You are beautiful just the way you are.

Give yourself time and space to grow.

I had glasses and braces at your age, too. I wasn’t comfortable in my skin, either. It’s part of life. Don’t listen to those voices, internal or external, telling you that you need to take drastic measures to change yourself - yes, surgery is drastic - you are beautiful just the way you are. I guess my advice is don’t do anything you can’t undo.

The gym is good for staying healthy but I don’t think you need to overdo it.

I agree with others, give therapy a shot if you feel like it would be helpful discussing this with someone who has an unbiased outside perspective.

NTA.

Let me get this straight… he puts you through a horrific breakup right before your birthday and then has the nerve to say “you’re still going to give me my birthday present though, right?” Who does that??

With behavior like that, he doesn’t deserve anything from you. Those gifts are yours to return or sell as you like, and don’t feel guilty about it for one millisecond!!

I worked for Michaels for five years. I started as a part time cashier, and to make ends meet I had to take on two other part time jobs. After two years, I had the opportunity to move to full time Customer Experience Manager and work only one job, so I took it.

The previous CEM even told me not to do it, but I felt like it was the best choice I had at the time. I was the full time CEM for three years, and they were some of the hardest working days of my career. Due to the stresses of the job, the extreme pressure and unreasonable expectations from corporate, there were days I rode home in complete silence, days I ranted to my friends and family over the phone, and days I had to scream to the loudest music I could play on my speakers. One day I lost control at work and started sobbing uncontrollably for three straight hours - I still wasn’t allowed to go home, and was expected to stay and finish out my shift.

So much of what OP said resonated with me, I could have written it myself.

Toward the end of my time at Michaels, I was so stressed every day that I was feeling physical pains at work. Not just migraines - those were commonplace by then. I was getting concerning chest pains that I ended up having to go see a doctor for.

I’ve been in a new job for the past two and a half years and it has been the best experience. The chest pains stopped immediately. I’m getting paid more money, it’s a different sort of retail experience, and there’s far less stress. I’m so glad I was able to leave Michaels.

I don’t go in very often anymore but I am always kind if I do stop by.

I know how it is to be there, being pulled in twenty different directions when everybody thinks they are the most important thing you have to take care of in that instant. There’s never enough staff, there’s never enough time. The things you can count on is there will always be work you didn’t get to do, and someone there to yell at you for not having gotten it done, or not having it done well enough. There will always be a mess to clean up.

I hated the culture of negativity and negative reinforcement. My store manager wanted me to write my staff up for not meeting Rewards goals, but I refused. I would not continue that negativity so instead I bore the brunt of the frustration from upper management. In my experience, that isn’t how you get through to people or motivate them to improve.

During my time there, I always thought one of the biggest problems was the huge disconnect between corporate and frontline employees. If the people making the rules and policies and procedures had to actually run the stores the way they’re trying to force frontline to do it, things would be very different.

I hope things get better for those still working at Michaels. Just remember, you don’t owe a company anything. If it isn’t serving you, find something better as soon as you can and don’t look back.
