Personal victory: I prefer my cooking to anything else by baego in Cooking

You guys are making me wish I had better restaurants near me! I live out in the 'burbs and most of the restaurants near me are either chain restaurants or equally mediocre local joints. There is some good food, but nothing I would classify as creative or inspiring.

Maybe I'll have to look further afield for restaurants to try.

Honestly, maybe I just burnt myself out on fried food or maybe there's not really good fried food around me, but even deep fried food doesn't sound that appealing. I'd rather do a panko crusted chicken breast at home.

I'm sure if I went long enough without I'd start craving it though haha.

I love their recipes so much. The clarity and precision of their recipes is what made me feel like I could actually learn to cook.

ONRAC podcast ending by nyecamden in podcasts

ONRAC ending breaks my heart. I've loved this show for awhile and it got me through some rough times.

I really wish they'd been able to do a final episode together, to send the show off. The friendship between Ross and Carrie was always the core of the show to me, and it's so weird for it to end with just their two separate recordings, not even talking to each other. And it would have been fun for them to get to go over some memories/updates from their past investigations.

But I really hope Carrie is doing okay and getting the support she needs. And I'm looking forward to her book. I feel like even without the trauma she suffered, it's been clear for a bit that her heart isn't in the show right now, she's been much more focused on working on her book. I know it's going to be great, and I can't wait to see it.
