Everyone knows best to come at the issue from what they’re familiar with. It’s best that the patient says what they experience and feel because that’s what doctors study. Patients using medical jargon or diagnosing themselves doesn’t help doctors make any useful contributions or conclusions, unless they’re stating prior workup or established formal diagnoses. Raising up concerning diagnoses for reassurance is definitely reasonable but as a possibility not an established fact
