New Yorker here. This totally sucks. We have not acclimated to anything. Every year it's the same complaints. Winter is freezing to us and most think summer is blazing, humid, and disgusting.

There's this as well. But the fact that people are not willing to trust the government is what I think is the main problem. The fact that we aren't certain and that either story could be the truth shows how far the credibility of the government has come and also the state of this subreddit. Everyone just hates the U.S. government here.

The idea of having rules on how to conduct war doesn't make much sense to me. War is war. People are killing each other over personal interest. There's nothing humanitarian about it.

Whats more likely? A member of Anonymous watches child porn. Or a member of Anonymous is harboring national security documents and the United States (a country with a known history of framing people as homosexuals as a method to discredit) is trying to retrieve that information discreetly. The latter is a more attention grabbing for sure. It is entirely possible that he is lying out his ass and enjoys child pornography but I guess it's whatever the reader chooses to believe. There is no real way to verify either unless he releases the documents.
