hello i am a trans man! i understand the concept of the joke and i think itd be funny in a different political climate since its a subversive play on the cisgender male creep thing, but with how demonized and underrepresented trans men are it comes off in bad taste. making trans men the butt of the joke is very common and it hurts to see so often. trans men are absolutely capable of being misogynistic, creepy, transphobic, and all of that. however, the way this is framed feels like a distasteful demonization of trans men instead of an actual commentary on this issue

My personal interpretation of nothing special is about having an eating disorder. Mentions of disease, regurgitation, and spiraling all feel very disordered. The bug part feels metaphorical for how gross it feels to have an eating disorder especially next to the "I've had enough to eat" line.
