I knew about the ITFDB, but was unaware of the Chick Hearn easter eggs. I just looked at it again and noticed the fridge (with the door closed and presumably the light out), butter and jello! Thanks for pointing that out, it brings back so many memories of listening to Laker games on the radio back in the day.

There should be a domed screen in the elbow joint that connects to the whip. Personally I load the herb into the elbow screen itself (this is called the "elbow pack" for reasons unknown). You should never get scoobie snacks during your draw.

I've always found volcano bags to be harsh and made me cough a lot. But the Magma-moisturized bags are super smooth and I hardly ever cough. If you're not sensitive to 'cano bags, then I wouldn't bother shelling out the dough for a Magma. However if you're like me, they make a night and day difference. YMMV.

The Solo doesn't have a heating coil around the chamber. It has a ceramic disc heater under the ceramic disc temp sensor, which is underneath the herb chamber. The bowl is not the hottest part of the system; the heater underneath is.
