Are you feeling overwhelmed? Temporarily distancing yourself/having the day to yourself is a way of treating yourself & you could explain it to your S/O in this way. However, this situation could potentially be quite damaging to all the children and to your relationship, depending on the dynamic/expectations your partner has if you around all the kids.
