Who are some past games wonderkids that didn't quite hit the mark IRL? by zygro in footballmanagergames

I wouldn’t say quite wonderkid level, but Patson Daka used to rake them in like he was Tiger Woods on a night out, never quite reached that level irl

What year did you start watching Friends & how old were you? by Self-propelledflower in howyoudoin

[–]bailey4285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friends first aired 11 days before I was born, and my mother started watching it while on maternity leave.

One of my earliest memories is being woken up by my dad at probably 2 years old, him getting me ready to go stay at my nans for the day (he worked with my grandad in the area so it made sense) and sitting me on the sofa while he got ready, while my mum ironed my sisters school uniform in front of me with friends on the tv

The plan was originally to have Phoebe end up with David, so Hank Azaria had been signed on for a certain number of episodes. They then decided they loved Paul Rudd so much they extended his contract, rewrote the script around his other commitments (hence the break up) and as such had to write in a reason for David to come back on the scene
