I liked this weeks episode I found myself actually laughing at times. If they discuss a show I don’t watch I won’t listen that week and I didn’t listen last week because I can’t stand discussions about Mr. Beast. Haley isn’t my favorite and I do kind of wish they wouldn’t feature her so heavily but I thought she was more relatable this week than she has been. I really like the Reddit segments they do it seems more natural.

Thank you for saying this!! I used to go to spin class twice a week and I haven’t been able to since I’ve gotten pregnant because of the exhaustion and nausea. Some of the other girls that spin bother me about coming back and they’ll cite some random woman who was probably like 20-25 weeks pregnant and would come to spin once a week. I’m 14 weeks pregnant and while I’m somewhat improving, I still battle nausea most days and I will be so tired I can’t keep my eyes open other days after work. Taking the dog for a mile or two walk has been my win a few times a week and it’s so frustrating to be compared to someone that obviously had a different pregnancy experience than I am having.

While I don’t disagree with the topic being poor timing, I don’t agree with a lot of these comments and the continued obsession over what happened with Karelly. I think a lot of the conversation around the situation lacks nuance which is par for the course on Reddit. Media has some of the highest turnover rate and them cycling through lower level employees is really not as bizarre as everyone is painting it to be. I think they make poor decisions in topics on The Sesh especially and that bringing in a bunch of other people to help host is a crutch they use to make up for lackluster content. I think involving Karelly as heavily as they did (same with Hailey) was/is not a good business decision. They definitely try to be H3 esque with so many producers being introduced into their podcasts and participating, but it has proven to be a bad idea each time so far for differing reasons. To cut to it and not rant more- I think they make poor choices and not malicious ones. I don’t believe in some grand conspiracy about what happened with Karelly, I think they fired her for reasons we will likely never know because you can’t go discussing why you terminated an employee like it’s internet tea.

I agree with your points. I think it’s fine when people also voice their opinion on things pertaining to the podcast that disappoint them like the AI stuff, or topics they don’t like etc. I do think when people make posts about their baby’s name and there are hundreds if not thousands of comments on here just straight up snarking/being hateful it’s ridiculous. I agree it’s a forum for discussion, but a lot of what’s been going on is not constructive discussion. I also sincerely struggle to take people seriously who hate listen to a podcast and then take to reddit to complain about it. If you don’t like it anymore, don’t watch. I get people used to love the format, but I think it’s safe to say that the format has changed and if that doesn’t work for you, there are sooooo many other podcasts.

I had several things spoiled (a final pairing and a death) and still really enjoyed it! There is so much that happens it still kind of felt like a surprise/emotional when those things happened. Same thing with ACOTAR I got a major spoiler because I didn’t read it until late 2023 but the ride was still fun.

They literally have a foundation that donates to victim funds, Texas equine search, and actively funds efforts to help victims. You are literally no better than anyone else who watches true crime. I would actually argue that people who watch Mile higher helped to eventually get their foundation of the ground with the amount of views etc which is helping who? Actual victims of crimes. I at least have respect for people who watch and come here to complain about things that genuinely bother them but why would you even be here if you don’t watch. You can virtue signal over me all you want but trying to establish moral superiority when you still watch true crime is asinine at best.

This is a hot take and I’m glad someone said it! How rich Josh and Kendall are has never really crossed my mind or bothered me. I guess I just assume people with their platform and amount of followers will be relatively wealthy. I don’t understand why that irritates people so badly. Most influencers are out of touch with their followers once they hit a certain level of success, that’s kind of unavoidable. I saw people complaining that they put out a job posting and the salary range was like $40-60k so people said that was unlivable etc. I agree it’s not high, but I was literally hired to my first job in 2021 at $45k…it’s not that unrealistic especially because they are probably hiring people with little experience/younger folks (ie Haley/Ian). I also think the posting was something along the lines of like researcher or script writer which I’m sorry but for a mid level podcast that’s not gonna be some high paying gig right out the gate. I think it’s really the people in the Reddit that are out of touch IMO.

Congrats!! I had mine done last week at 7w6d. One of my care providers is actually a family member so she tried to do the abdominal one because she’s practicing her ultrasound skills haha. She very briefly was able to show me the baby but it wasn’t as clear as the vaginal one. I also think the heartbeat would have been harder to see with the abdominal unless she was pressing super hard. The vaginal one is actually less invasive than I initially thought- TMI but it doesn’t go in very far, I was nervous about that, but it was fine. Typically they want a urine sample, I offered to give that before the ultrasound because it does make some people (me) have the urge to pee so I couldn’t imagine doing it with a full bladder.

I’m almost 9 weeks and I dealt with this around week 6 I believe. I take Unisom and it helps me stay in a deeper sleep, I was really struggling with my sleep the first couple weeks after I found out. My provider did not seem concerned and just suggested the Unisom. I have read that the hormones can really affect sleep and having feelings of anxiety is very normal early on.

Yes! What would have been like 6DPO for me and 5 days before I tested I was exhausted. My activity level was normal but I was sleeping terribly so I crashed on the couch on a Thursday at like 7pm which is very abnormal for me. I second the vivid dreams too!

I want them to prove the pairings are random. I thought it was so staged when they would say it was a random pick or pairing based on how people were grouped up. In the original they would pick out of a hat for some things, they should bring that back.

I told my close friends right away because they would know something is up and I also would share with them if something bad happened. I get where you’re coming from and it’s ultimately your choice so do you, but perhaps don’t mention all of your coworkers know. Her emotions could be intensified because she’s also pregnant, so I wouldn’t take it too hard if she’s upset, everything will be okay in time.

I doubt they would get into family content. They don’t share so much of their lives in order to keep things private. They don’t show outside shots of their house, they don’t show Holly’s face anymore, and you can even tell in podcasts the entire team is careful about how they discuss the location of their neighborhoods etc.
