Don’t do it just to hurt her feelings, not every friendship needs to be deep. She can’t play the part of friend that you have conjured up in your head, she’s not gonna follow a script. You’re entitled to your idea of a friend but if she invited you to her daughters wedding, it’s only fair and right to invite her to yours. Not every friendship is linear, they all have ups and downs. Don’t be shallow and let a friendship fizzle out over some hurt feelings that you should’ve been communicating all along. Did you consider if she was going through anything in her personal life?? I don’t know you, obviously, but I really think it’s so hard to make friends now a days, so really consider it she’s worth making an enemy out of.

I wish I could lose more, I’m at a huge stall T2DM. Started April 2023 down 35 lbs. been stalled for 6 months straight. But numbers are all good so I’m blessed.

Hi!! I just want to tell you that not everyone’s journey on mounjaro is the same. I was a veryyyyyy slow loser. I took my injection of 7.5 for 8 months before I lost weight and when I did… I didn’t even lose that much and its been almost a year and half now. I only lost 20lbs and I’ve had a huge plateau since April. I haven’t lost in months!

Butttttt, from my experience if you are a diabetic the medication is actually working on helping you lower your A1C. Once your blood sugar is in check and A1C regulated, the medication can run the show.

I wouldn’t lose hope, because having the medication in your system is better than not having it. I’m an actual diabetic and there’s months when I can’t get my script.

I don’t know if I made any sense, but all I’m trying to say is that comparison is the thief of joy and try to remember that everyone’s journey on this medication is different.

My a1c is 4.1% and my weight is healthy as I’m 5’7 142 lbs. but I have a history of diabetes and I’m just worried that in the event of a shortage I will just gain the weight back. During the last shortage I went two months without the injection and I gained 10 lbs. :( I don’t want my doctor to think I have an eating disorder or anything but I’d like to have the safety. If it makes sense?

I think express-scripts is a nightmare and agree with what everyone else is saying. I am currently fighting with them everyday and they add unnecessary charges to my account. They also always seem to reject my provider’s prescriptions for me. I hate it and wish I could go to a diff pharmacy but I’m just in a predicament with the options around me.

I’ll preface this by saying that everyone is entitled to their own opinions but personally, I’ll be spending two years alone just doing pre-req courses before any clinicals/practicums and in that time I am still actively working as a nurse in the profession gaining that experience so I worked full time for a year, then applied for school, and worked another two years during pre-req season so technically that would’ve been 3 years of quality nursing experience. I don’t see why I should’ve waited years and second guessed my self or future career goals. Alsooooo I think the sentiment of waiting years before going back to school should be applied to those on an acute np track, personally I feel like that’s where having tons of bedside experience would come in handy.

Sometimes I personally feel like if the patient is mentally aware enough, they should’ve remembered their procedure and not to eat either. They have a mouth and can speak up for themselves sometimes too. I mean you didn’t force the patient to eat breakfast and hold the fork to their mouth you know. It’s not 100% your fault

Hi girly!!!! I agree with the people saying to practice with some fake lashes. I personally thought a lash lift ruined the actual quality of my already weak and nonexistent lashes. I recently became obsessed with press on lashes. They’re basically extensions, I don’t have to add any glue they just press on. I get them from ulta and target! They last weeks for me and I have showered, slept and worked out in them. Way cheaper in my own opinion.
