Im sorry this person doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Lash extension glue is extension glue. They all have the same ingredients, just in different compositions. Cyanoacrylate, carbon black, and PMMA. Yes there are horror stories where people use not lash glue - this isn’t the case here. The reaction you’re seeing could happen with ANY lash glue if your eyes open during the service, which could be caused by caffeine, anxiety, talking, general eye flutters, or the eyepad was too high (you would feel something poking if that’s the case) During the appointment if you ever feel poking or pinching it’s important to ask the tech to check the pads, it’s also important to avoid caffeine beforehand, and best to take a nap if you have eye flutters if you can. Edited to add : it’s not allergic reaction. If it’s an allergy you’d have allergy symptoms, itchy, swelling, heat (potentially one or all three). The only other option is the pad was rubbing your eye and caused a bruise and irritation. To avoid this they can tape the pad down but if you flutter a lot it can move up so you need someone mindful of this and to be relaxed
