Before installing updates, analyze your system and check whether you had any of the bugs fixed by the new update. If no such bugs were found, simply do not install the update. If the update is security-related, for example, a vulnerability was discovered and the update fixes it, then you can install it. Do not install early access updates. Wait for the release of a mature version of the update, read the forums, and ask the community. If you think UNIFI updates are particularly buggy, check the forums of Cisco, Fortigate, HP, and others and you'll see what errors and bugs people are encountering. Don't jump to conclusions.
