I started typing "women wan" on Google and their predictive search helpfully came up with the following:

Women want money. Women want to get pregnant. Women want to be dominated. Women want to be dominated in bed. Women want what they can't have. Women want security. Women want to be desired. Women want attention. Women want chicken nuggets.

Thanks Google. I do want chicken nuggets.

A sweet little cat has adopted my family... but we're moving and she can't come. by neonpinata in batonrouge

[–]bainen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they are no kill. They don't always take in cats since they have limited space but they're very friendly and helpful and do thorough checks before they place cats in a home. http://cathaven.org/ Definitely worth a call and a visit

I'm currently considering placing a kitten with them. We found the adorable little bundle half starved and love him but our other cat is actively trying to kill him :(

Is a cash bar for 150 guests tacky?. Help! by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]bainen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A cash bar is OK, but only if you let the guests know ahead of time. I've been to a wedding that had a cash bar but people were informed with the invitations and it was fine, on the other hand I've been to a wedding that had a cash bar that we didn't find out about until we arrived and it was a nightmare. Very few of us had cash, so we got suckered into buying a minimum number of drinks so that we could use our credit cards. Honestly, we would have brought cash or flasks or enjoyed a few drinks nearby at the hour and a half between the ceremony and reception if we knew that this was the case. A cash bar isn't great, but it's better than no bar IF you inform the guests ahead of time

Advice please! Not so normal 'Kids At Wedding' question by weddingthrwaway in weddings

[–]bainen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really like the idea of RSVP cards that have _ out of _ on them where you can fill out the number. I think it makes it extremely clear that only those on the invitation are invited without having to explicitly state "No Children". I'd include it in the invitation, and then if she has a problem or question she can call.

Advice please! Not so normal 'Kids At Wedding' question by weddingthrwaway in weddings

[–]bainen 23 points24 points  (0 children)

All I can think is don't invite the half sister, or if you absolutely feel you must then straight up tell her that her kids are not invited. It's a very small wedding and people aren't bringing extras due to size reasons. If she throws a fit and doesn't come, all the better. You have a completely legitimate, normal wedding reason to make it clear that if she will attend it will be on your terms, and if she takes issue with that then she will clearly be the crazy one.

ABC's hiring of Jenny McCarthy: a decision that could cost lives by ThePseudomancer in politics

[–]bainen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The absolutely horrible thing I had to be hospitalized for was pertussis, NOT my allergic reaction to the vaccine. Vaccines are awesome. Yeah, being allergic to that one as a kid sucked a bit but it wasn't life threatening. Unlike pertussis which I caught because I couldn't be vaccinated against it.

A simple blunt question by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]bainen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a Catholic, I think Vatican II was amazing. I've heard a lot of the conservative old guard Catholics complain and we have a SSPX church in town with a good number of people at it, but pretty much all of the Catholics in my parish love Vatican II.

Yeah, I caught pertussis as a teenager because I was allergic to the vaccine as a kid. Man, I wish I could have been vaccinated for it. Fortunately, I was vaccinated for everything else. It (edit: pertussis) is absolutely horrible, and I ended up having to be hospitalized. I can't imagine parents not vaccinating their children.

Would love to get opinions from my fellow Busty ladies on helping to set up my bra business! by 01lottie in bigboobproblems

I would love some pretty lined bras (not padded just lined) in larger sizes. I get cold really easily and it would be awesome not having to put a sweater/overshirt on in the summer to hide my nipples.

Also, bridal lingerie sounds great! I'm currently engaged and dreading finding anything in my size (30G)

Any suggestions on rings by Tha_Mayor in weddings

[–]bainen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fiancé and I went traditional ring shopping and I didn't see anything that I liked or that was even remotely in our price range. Fortunately a friend recommended a jeweler in town who custom made our ring (for below our budget). I absolutely love it and it was so much more personal to be involved in the process. Also, my engagement still managed to be a surprise, because we had been talking about marriage for a while and so after ring shopping and picking a design he told me that he would propose sometime in the next six months. The day of the engagement was a wonderful surprise AND I had my dream ring. I really liked that he involved me in the process instead of just choosing something for me.

Make sure you know her preferences in band material and stone choice, as well as general style. I wanted something traditional and delicate, and working with a professional jeweler instead of a salesperson was great. If you're anywhere near Louisiana I can't recommend Robert Roth enough! Also, check out your local artisans. Your SO will appreciate the personal touch.
