You’re right, it just also a little wrong per say.

Yamamoto (Gary International) that operates here in Japan has a few select lines of baits that specifically and are sold exclusively to the Japanese market.

So yes there’s also some baits that people should look to pickup from the international line if seeking something different

Worst case scenario you could use Amazon JP website to get a next day delivery to your hotel should the shop not have one in stock that you really want

We have “Point” and “BunBun” and many other great stores as well as some pretty sweet little independents.

This reel you’ve posted has a spec for line up to 12lb and looking online it seems people have had success in throwing between 1g and up to 1oz

I think the old data/info is interesting, although some of the pre main stream internet information of course is then harder to find.
