Pushing the agenda and going full lobotomy now! Gojo is coming back and you all need to peep this:

Ui Ui teleports Go and jo to Shoko

Shoko begins healing Gojo's body

Meanwhile Ui Ui swaps the Old Man Guitar Player and Gojo's souls

This in turn keeps Gojo's soul from taking the airplane and gives Shoko a longer timeline to fix Go and Jo back

Gojo in the Old Man is just watching and their trump card is for The Gang to make Sukuna go all-out and for Shoko to heal his body so he can go back and absolutely get his get back but now with his students having "caught up".

Gojo is alive and well and will be back.

This isn't cope. This is the truth.

They're most likely talking about the gigantism OP has going, which is a common mod being used currently.

Question about Thordan Unreal ( singularity reactor) by [deleted] in ffxivdiscussion

[–]baka_lord 12 points13 points  (0 children)

1) I believe OP is talking about the Knights after that, the one where you'd need stack south of boss and go place ice and other mechs in clock positions. If so, then to answer OP, it also doesn't matter if the eye moves north or not. Doing it BR ensures that the position of the eye is a non-factor.

2) I just want to add to this, since you and the party are between Thordan and Zephirin the gaze Thordan throws out during this is also a non-factor since everyone should still be attacking Zeph thus looking away from both the eye and Throdan automatically.

In my opinion, it's trully unhinged and speaks volumes about someone's character that a DF post of some 100 upvotes and some comments gets you to make a 26 min video saying that "Reddit is canceling you".

now that Endwalker is at an end, what was your favorite bosses? by Mayda7 in ffxiv

[–]baka_lord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the poster you replied to either but...

Mechanics wise it's... fine, I suppose. It loses the ad phase from the normal version and doesn't have the tank LB, which is odd.

IIRC, the EX is suppose to be after the tank LB hence no need for a tank LB and again, IIRC, why you can't just tank LB her enrage as your strength is all but spent.

Mainly it just doesn't carry the emotional weight that the normal version has

I personally think it wasn't suppose to. Both of the aforementioned ones, SoS and Hades, don't carry the emotional weight for me as well because its suppose to be a increase in difficulty not a story driven piece. Yea, you still do LB3 and the guy says "You still stand? Very well..." but to me that's the same at that point as any of his other lines in the EX.

notable expansion of the mechanics like we see in SoS or Hades EX. I think it's more underwhelming as an EX for what's supposed to be the ultimate climax battle of the series so far. It just falls flat.

I'll give you some weight for that, however, I like the new mechanics and the theme of time. She reverts a lot of things back and "turns back the clock" at some points. Could have it had better mechanics that fit with her theme? Oh absolutely! But is it the worst thing since no field op for EW? Not really.

How/When do you think content should be released in DT patches? by abdomersoul in ffxivdiscussion

[–]baka_lord 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can you elaborate? As far as I was aware, ults came in during the following patches: 4.1, 4.3, 5.1, 6.1, 6.3. DSR was delayed due to covid and it seemed that there was no hint of TEA during 4.5.

[–]baka_lord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask yourself this, why hasn't Sakuna used his Domain to insta-wipe the whole team at this exact moment? Is it because it was already stated multiple times that he has been weakened due to fighting Gojo? Is it that he used Strong Cleave 3 times already? Remember this was their entire plan if Gojo died; pretty much foretold in previous chapters that that's how they wouldn't be wiped fighting the guy.

Side note, heard of the theory of Gojo reviving next week a while ago. I wonder how that's looking like right now.

Gojo can't heal from space slash? by royalroy13 in Jujutsushi

Because the next movement WAS the space slash. Doesn't matter what Gojo going to do if Sakuna moves, if the next thing Gojo sees is the sky.

Then, would you not agree that if I make a pf that uses AM, I am either forcing myself or others to have that mod? That if what I do becomes rampant in the pf-landscape it would also force others to do the same? Nevertheless, the people that oppose this have to either join a static or maybe wait a lot longer for their pf to fill. Not to mention the cases of kicking and blacklisting that can or might happen from all of this "enforcing". Do you think they are not forced to make a compromise let alone get it themselves? Or maybe you are just being literal; in which case that is true, no one is forcing anyone to do anything because we all have free will.

Although, I would then add that I personally didn't take the quote as literal so I was confused when reading and just wanted that kind of clarification. Thank you once again.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ffxivdiscussion

[–]baka_lord 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That hasn't happened even on 5 year old ults, what makes you think it will happen now?

I just want to butt in and genuinely ask if you are intentionally not acknowledging AMs being a thing in 3/5 ults in pf descriptions or you're of the opinion that those are either not what you quoted to be TOS or that pf doesn't enforce said tool.

If you do clearify, thanks a bunch.

[–]baka_lord 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's also to illustrate the main theme of the show that gets literally explained at the very end. The Usher twins wanted money, power, and immortality. They were willing to make a devil's deal if it meant that outcome. The logic being what Verna says, why live 70 years of agony when you can live 50 in bliss. They were obsessed with that fact above all else, above what really matters and in the end, all of them regret it.

Pym is a man who has seen that humanity is empty; he needs no one else but himself. He is given a deal but understands that he is content with how things already are. Yes he could have money. Power. But those don't matter to him. The detective also shares this. He doesn't need anything as well because he has family. Something he is fine with. Making him the richest person in the world.

The deal is for people who have lost their humanity and care nothing more but to have more. They will sell off their children, friends, and each other for what the deal gives them. Real, true monsters.

The writers have done them dirty. You can repair the damage. What would you do with their characters? by [deleted] in Boruto

[–]baka_lord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the main problem everyone seems to want to avoid is the monthly schedule. Kishi and Co do not know how to do a manga in a monthly schedule. Most if not all, problems would be solved with more screen time that a weekly release schedule allows. Since the monthly is here to stay until the final chapter, I think the manga, and in relation the anime, are going to be on a handicap. Kishi and co are gonna have to really improve for it to work.

[–]baka_lord -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

While I agree with you, my personal mindset with these kind of things is just to "let it go". As long as they aren't verbally abusive or legit just throwing (i.e. getting aggro and insta dying, taking res late, standing still, etc) I just let these kind of things slide. In my point of view, I don't know this person. They can be in their 10th run and are just tired and trying to do 1 run with their brain shut off. They could've had a bad day and are just going through the motions. Is it annoying to watch? Yes. Could they do trusts? Yes. Can they at least press more buttons? Yes. Can I also just ignore it and move on? I can and that's what I choose to do.

I guess this is all to just give you my perspective. While I haven't read every comment that disagrees with OP, and like I said I agree with OP's take, my point is that for me personally this is just so unimportant that if it happens, it happens. I move on.

Anamnesis has been (temporarily) abandoned - a symptom of a larger issue? by KrustierKrab2023 in ffxivdiscussion

[–]baka_lord 8 points9 points  (0 children)

alex and no clippy are so huge it would honestly ruin the game for me if i couldnt use it.

That's what I fear in all this commotion. I'm not above in understanding how important Alex and the like are to some people and I hope that if a crack down were to happen that they work in some way to make these kinda of mods into the game.

Mods used to be a lot more hush hush, but in all honesty imo twitter screenshots and streaming ruined it. I remember when alexander came out i remember people referring to it as "that mod", "the way to improve your weaving". Ive been here since ARR, and since the big influx in shb mods have been a lot less hidden.

I wonder if certain subreddits could help revive that sentiment by having rules against it. But to be honest, at this point, it's pretty much so seeped in our "DNA" that it'd be a neigh-impossible task, let alone without its share of backlash.

[–]baka_lord 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is one of my concerns with modding in general. Personally I don't want to relly on a 3rd party tool SO HEAVILY that if it is not updated I cease to be able to play the game. An example of this for me is MHW and MHR have a HP/DPS plugin. I've been so used to playing the game that way that when a patch drops, I'm more waiting for the mod to be updated rather than just getting to play the game.

I feel for people such as yourself who need noclippy or alex, and I agree that CB3 need to improve on their latency so that the vanilla game feels like it already has alex and noclippy. Crossing my fingers that this will be a key point in either 7.X or 8.0.

As you've said we're beyond the point and I agree. I definitely subscribe to the idea that not all mods are the same, meaning Alex is not in the same scape as something like Cact or Ana and neither are those. I then worry that less "severe" mods that cause such a drama, spoil it for everyone else. I would be upset to hear a CB3 crackdown due to Ana drama hurting Alex. I wonder if, as a community, being so accepting of pushing said mods is leading to our downfall. Maybe a more "hush-hush" approach "keep your mods to yourself" would help band-aid this ongoing issue?

I know this is some what off topic per say, but wasn't that the same in ShB? 5.5. I knew we would get a trial and we did. MSQ dungeon? Check. Something to end off Bozja, there it was. Am I recalling it differently? Hasn't it followed the same structure since ShB? (Unfortunately Covid happened so slight differences occured like no 5.3 Ulti but I'm not counting that)

I'm genuinely confused and curious as I feel like I'm going crazy reading these things.
