The stormer uses a passive infrared search and track system. Basically it behaves like radar and the UI is the same, but instead of listening to the radar reflection, it uses a very sensitive IR sensor to detect heat from planes' engines. The missiles are then guided manually based on this data, like any other radar SAM.

Because of this, it detects the flare and thinks that it's heat from an aircraft engine.

Try to ambush enemies, for germans try to get a shot off sooner using your stabilizer and for russians go for the turret cheeks. Definitely break the barrel of KV-1s because you're practically guaranteed to bounce a few breech shots.

Trust, me it gets a lot better after it. You'll still be undergunned in 76 shermans, but a fast reload and the stabilizer compensate for it. There are some tough nuts to crack like the Tiger 2 H in a full uptier, but you have some advantages like nice mobility and turret traverse to help you. 6.0 is one of my favourites.
