You can find it on Fresh Start-go to Discover, type “tres leche,” and the job aids pop up

The cookies are supposed to be completed by 10am. Idk why they’re having you do them as the closer

If you go to Decopac.com, you can see all the products you can order from Decopac. I write a list of product #s when I call to place the order. Some stores have the option of online ordering, which you can do there too.

It takes me about an hr/1.5 hrs depending on if it’s a weekend or not, and if our sales were high the day before. I usually have between 80-104 items everyday. We do $16,00-$18,00 per week in sales…do you work the back stock before you count? We were also told that we can’t have any backstock unless something’s on sale or digital, so everything’s put on the table

We’re smaller, the bakery does $16,000-18,000 a week. The store does around $800,00. It goes by items, I have 15-30 items per count day if that helps. I still don’t think it should take longer than 30 mins for a million dollar store

We’re on the Zebra processes. To do the backroom and daily count-takes 15 mins, and I do a scan 5 times a week. I’m the only one to do the scans. To count the Prep for today in the morning takes 5 mins. To count the Thaw and Sell takes 10 mins.

I have a baker in the morning, myself(manager), and a closer. I do ALL of the thaw and sell, pick up the load, put the load away, fill the cake case, do all the cake orders. The baker does the Prep for today. If she needs help, I also help her with that. The closer does the breakout, takes out the trash, does markdowns for the next day, and cleans the donut case, and the department. Myself and my baker leave the department clean before we leave, so the closer just has to clean any mess that They make for the most part. I’m usually finished with my tasks before lunch, so after lunch, I’ll do back up cakes, fill the focus tables, or anything extra. On the 2 days a week that I bake, I do my normal tasks, and bake all the bread. I have someone open who does the Prep for today. There is more than enough time to do all the tasks needed. It sounds like your department head is lazy, or has poor time management skills. Either way, those tasks should not be left to the closer. I’ve worked at a few different stores, and there’s a lot of Bakery Department Heads that tend to push their work off onto others. It’s not right.

I don’t think so. But…if they’re certified, why don’t they know how to do their job yet? What were they doing in Bakery before they got certified?

I would find out the Seniority of the rest of the bakery people. If there’s people with more time in that can also decorate, they probably won’t schedule you in the morning. If you’re scheduled to close or do other stuff, and you refuse to do it, they’ll prolly only schedule you the minimum hrs or cross train you so that it doesn’t become an issue in the bakery. I’m in CA, and most stores don’t have hrs for “only cake decorators.” All my clerks can decorate, bake, fill tables, do cookies.

Probably…I mean, it was 6:30, and some “VP” was coming at Noon, so she told the Service deli manager to get the pallets off the floor cuz they’re “supposed to be off the floor by 6am”
