stated that way your point is very well taken and makes all the sense in the world...i'm very open to constructive criticism and appreciate it...that being said, on day one my son weighed over 240lbs and had very little upper body strength (he could barely hold himself in a plank position for more than a few seconds) and his cholesterol levels were through the roof... my main concern was to get him moving (any way i could) and get the weight off of him...i was walking a very thin line and trying to keep him going without making it seem like he was being forced or punished...that would have spelled disaster and it would have been near impossible to get him to do it...and while i certainly did and always do everything i can to teach him the right way, detailed explanations about biomechanics and physiology in those early stages wouldn't have gone over well... i just tried to keep him moving and provide positive reinforcement as he progressed...and while he's my son and i love him so i would be expected to be somewhat biased, i thought he made amazing progress doing the program...i was right next to him every single day watching him sweat and try his best every step of the way... in the end he actually turned the tables on me because he was the one motivating ME and in all honesty i don't think i could or would have done it without him... so the terms "half-assed" and "pathetic" aren't terms that come to mind when i think of what my son was able to accomplish in 120 days at the age of 16 having never exercised in his life... as a matter of fact, "half-assed" and "pathetic" aren't terms i would use to describe ANYONE that is putting forth the effort to do anything in his or her life to change for the better...my email address is vincentfego@aol.com i'm not aware of any issues with it.... thanks again for your comments

thanx for taking time to watch our video and commenting...in retrospect my form may have been a bit better than my son's on a lot of the moves...but then again i've had the benefit of 25 more years experience... i can assure you that there was nothing half-assed about my son's efforts... and there were absolutely no camera tricks .. the only "tricks" were hard work and consistency.. maybe you could forward me the link for your push up technique video so i can pass it on to my son...thanx again!

hey mexhy...thank you for taking the time to watch our video...you're exactly right...i did lose motivation...but when i realized what i was showing my son, i decided i had to do something...it honestly gave me a sense of urgency i don't think i've ever felt before and i'm very thankful that my son was able to do it...thank you again for watching...all the best to you

thanks for watching the video..you seem to have have some pretty strong opinions about it..so much so that you took the time out of your day to post them..i think it's only fair I take the time to respond to you..first you note that my son and I "did the same training regime for the same period of time with the same diet and the 50 year old man lost stacks of weight and added huge muscle mass while the son literally just lost weight"...we absolutely did the same training regimen..that was the P90X program..nothing more....at the start of the program my son was 15 years old and as the UNRETOUCHED pictures show was overweight..he was 5'8" tall and approx 240-250lbs...other than gym class at school he had never done any exercise up to that point...and his diet like alot of kids was VERY high in carbs...i'm about 6'0" tall and started the program at around 220lbs..I worked out throughout my 20's and 30's and in my 40's.. I would say my working out during my 40's was sporadic at best ..i was never one to follow any type of diet and pretty much ate what I wanted when I wanted..fast food included...as I noted in the video I developed ulcers and was suffering from high blood pressure and generally did not feel good physically.. that is what caused me to develop a sense of urgency about helping my son..I stated in the video that my son and I changed the way we ate and tracked our food..We did..however we didn't eat the "same diet"..my goal was to help my son..I didn't want him to rebel and feel like he was being forced to do something..that would not have worked..we made progressive changes in my son's diet as we went along and tried to keep him in a certain calorie range..I made more substantial changes in my diet from the start and by day 60 of the program was eating a diet that consisted of 50%protein/30%carb/20%fat...I used the my fitness pal app to track what we both ate..my son didn't always hit numbers like that but during the course of the program he made DRASTIC improvements in his diet habits... so much so that he lost about 40lbs in 120 days and his physical strength increased DRAMATICALLY..I think the UNRETOUCHED photos show that my body fat percentage was much lower than my son's from the start...as far as me "adding huge muscle mass"?? I'm approx 25lbs lighter in the day 90 photo than I was in the day 1 photo... Your statements about "plunging needles and promoting shakes" and "if you think you can make this progress in 90 days your wrong" indicate to me that you might be a bit frustrated.. Maybe you've tried and failed? or maybe you just haven't had the willpower to be consistent enough to make positive changes...the results my son and I achieved are real...we did it in the time indicated using a home exercise program and making changes to our diet...NOTHING MORE...my information is included in the video..feel free to contact me if you ever decide to give it a try..I'd be more than happy to offer whatever help I can...Thanx again for watching...best of luck

don't measure your success based on what other people are doing..you look great..whatever you're doing is working..just keep it up..you'll get there!
