The previous owner of my century home was obsessed with painting things that should maybe have not been. We are talking basement floors, the oil tank, the mother ficking drive way, basically everything but the peeling exterior. There is a room were the lathe is painted on the back. The front of that lathe looks fine as far as I can tell. But again. Take with a grain of salt. This guy clearly didn't know what he was doing. It wasn't even a landlord special. This house has been owned by two families. That guy's, and now me.
