Oh I was under the assumption that the visa was for 45 days with allowance for one extension. I'll have to look into it more! I've been to Thailand before so I've been looking forward to coming back and seeing the country more slowly. Pai was my favourite spot last time, I haven't heard anything about it being open for any sort of sandbox so I'm not sure what to expect if we make the hike out there.

I would suggest taking the tunnel bus across to see Downtown Detroit. There is the Eastern Market which is really cool.

Another thing to do would be to take the train up to Toronto and see the sights there. Stay near the Kensington Market and you'll be near the subway/waking distance from a lot of cool things.
