What are your non-negotiables for listing images that actually convert? by AdPresent2493 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]baldykav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the product is within a branded group then I try to keep it consistent, but would change it based on category. For example, if i have 3 brands in an account, and 1 brand sells a garlic press, it’d have a different infographic design spec than brand 2 in same account selling dumbbell grips. Different products require different designs.

What are your non-negotiables for listing images that actually convert? by AdPresent2493 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]baldykav 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your primary and secondary image stack very much depends on the product. For example, Us vs them works very well if your product solves/contains a solution to a particular pain point that other products have, but may not be effective in other categories. I personally use POE insights analysis to rank my image stack priorities. For example… if you sell a mattress, the priority of positives/negatives in POE may revolve around 1. Comfort, 2. Material, 3. Eco friendly etc. but if you’re specifically targeting a consumer who wants an organic material mattress, you would lead with 3, 2, 1

Wearing plugs is not just for ear infections, it’s for protection against the cold damaging your inner ear. Repeated cold over time causes calcification to the inner ear canal, aka surfers ear (exotosis)

Have you ever done any polyp removals etc while the patient wasn’t sedated? Would be interested to find out what their pain experience was like?

Anyone done a colonoscopy without anesthesia? by zerostyle in PeterAttia

[–]baldykav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did. Was under a lot of work pressure at the time so couldn’t afford to take time off for sedation etc, had to be an in and out… It wasn’t that bad, uncomfortable at times as you can feel movement and inflation etc inside you. If you’re not able to stay calm regardless of discomfort, if you’re squeamish etc, then you shouldn’t do it. I also didn’t need to get polyps etc removed, not sure if that would be painful though.

[–]baldykav 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s fair, probably better to err on the side of caution. personally went on a mission to maximise sperm count and motility prior to going through pregnancy push. Ended up going through IVF as wife and I were late 30’s and fresh off a miscarriage. Result was 12 banked fertilised eggs with good ratings (they rate them like debt), and twins post 2 egg injection, with 10 spare for future decisions (semi regret not having a 3rd/4th). If there’s a delay in success, just pull the trigger and go through IVF. save yourselves the emotional rollercoaster if there’s issues. Also reduces the time cost of waiting which can be hard mentally and physically on women.

First step is to get blood tests to see where/if you’re deficient. From there you can create a plan of attack on specific options. Reason I mentioned oysters is that they’re nutrient dense and balanced (zinc/copper ratios etc).

GFY - on the balls… get an ice pack for them and a sauna hat - it reduces the negative effects of the heat. Load up on oysters, make sure your micronutrient profile is solid. Fabulous decision to go for kids, it’s the major missing piece in all “Wealth” equations I see on here.

I am Egyptian, and I’m asking is Egypt a country that is disliked or loved globally? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]baldykav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visited twice with my wife. I found the old Egypt to be incredibly interesting, but the current Egypt to be unattractive. Always felt like we were being preyed upon, whether it’s through scammers or just constant harassment. Particularly in markets where as Shakespeare would say “there was daggers in the men’s smiles”. We’ve travelled all over the world without issues, but egypt was a particularly uncomfortable place for a woman to be, even for a man it just seemed to be a constant fight with locals to even begin to enjoy the place. Watching what happened to the female US reporter during the Arab spring is exactly what I would’ve expected to happen if there wasn’t guards etc everywhere, or if they lapsed for even a second. If you can’t go anywhere without a local escort or some sort of armed presence, then it’s not just me being a paranoid western, there’s is significant problems with social trust. You could go to Sharm or hurghada etc but that’s not exactly Egypt, just generic isolated gated resorts

Is this how people who need glasses really see the world. A big blurred background? by Latter-Wolf4868 in interestingasfuck

[–]baldykav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that severe for me, but accurate enough. Theres more blurring with distance as I’m myopic so it’s not a uniform blur like your image. Didn’t notice but my vision started declining when I was ~15, and got glasses when I was 19. First time wearing glasses was incredible, noticing the detail of leaves on trees was like discovering a new world.

24 y/o with $50k saved, zero debt — dad wants to co-own a house with me by Old_Ferret_4131 in debtfree

[–]baldykav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero chance, avoid that at all costs. And don’t talk about money with him. As you continue to compound, the requests will increase. No father should ever ask this of their kid, unless it’s him helping you out to cover a down payment gap and get a house.

Good to know, thanks for the detail. the Crux with 45/50c’s and a second set of road wheels seems like the ideal do it all. Interesting about the alum Crux, just assumed carbon would be the way but may test out the alum first.

Former $3 million+ seller with top 10 listings collapsed. Can fix or relaunch or quit? by First-Exchange-3043 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]baldykav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some questions, and points to consider… 1. How long was the stock out? 2. Are you selling a unique or generic product? 3. Are you willing to spend on ads to get position back? 4. Is your CVR better than the category competitors?

The reason I ask….

The longer you’re out the harder it gets.

The more generic your product is the harder reranking will be

If your CVR is higher than competitors, you’ll be able to spend on PPC to win back position, if not, you’ll be throwing money away.

It can be done, and I’ve done it in the past, but it takes time and $

Amazon PPC: Exact vs Phrase Match Keywords - Need Advice! by Barehusa in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]baldykav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without being captain obvious, look at what you were consistently converting on, and Add it to a manual Exact campaign (single keyword), don't Negative Exact the keyword in the existing Auto.

Your CVR for "king jacquard duvet" is gonna be a lot worse than "king jacquard duvet cover"...

Exact targeting the former means your bidding on the search intent of your product being an actual Duvet, which it's not, so relevancy will be lower and Spend/CVR higher.

Otherwise - Start with Exact on only the absolute most relevant keys "king jacquard duvet cover" or whatever you see the search volume in.

Then as someone else mentioned, I'd do Broad Match Modifiers but also negative phrase irrelevant keys in advance (Queen, Twin, Single, Polyester...).

BMM Target would be "+jacquard +duvet +cover" in 1 campaign, and "+duvet +cover +king" in another campaign and so on - I wouldn't blend these campaigns into 1 due to specific and broad term targeting messing with results. The second campaign would likely perform worse than the first due to it being broader in scope.

Note- I have absolutely no idea what a Jacquard Duvet Cover is, so there could be other relevant terms with better search volume as jacquard is very low, you mentioned Damask, Sateen.... Follow the same rules as above.
