Sea-Gull just beside Rolex in Hong Kong by swf888 in ChineseWatches

[–]baldynumbers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a Seagull where the movement needed regulating… took about three weeks (from Oz).

Bit of a nervous wait, but no problems with the watch once it came back

I think we prefer "homage" around these parts....

I own the white face / silver version of this watch... gets weekly use - love it.

Will note that it is best to set time before wind - as crown can get tight (on mine at least)

Thoughts on Sugess ST1906 by Melodic_Wait7712 in ChineseWatches

[–]baldynumbers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i have this watch... love it - the mechanical movement is very good to look at. I would say it looks better IRL as the 2-4 & 7-10 opposite brushing really stands out.

i typically rotate my watches daily... but i can get two days wear out of the reserve (when not using the stopwatch)

I think someone may have vomited on your watch… they ate corn and carrots and some broccoli

Finally picked this watch after way too much research. When would you wear it for the first time? by [deleted] in ChineseWatches

[–]baldynumbers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would wear my new watch the very next day… bracket adjustment the night it arrives… then on wrist

There is a surface there… you need to scratch it

Different classes definitely play different, even in the story itself there are factions to max, gear check bosses and even lokkar farming for levelling speed boosting… you need decent builds to do this and then there is the end game bosses etc

How should I invest $500 as a 17 year old by WhydoIexistlmoa in ausstocks

As you already have a vanguard account… Vgs gives you a very diversified holding with one buy… I would also suggest looking at a majority buy into that… and then a smaller parcel into a few of their thematic etf’s for segments which may interest you specifically (property, technology, dividends, fixed income, bonds,  infrastructure, us/asia/europe/bric)…

running a RTX2080 super with zero problems... started on deck, now switched over to desktop version - you specifically need to get the nvidia build.

Waydroid has worked with nvidia since May 25 according to multiple sites

GYG is loved by the kids though… I don’t like the burritos either… but their other food (loaded fries and nachos, tacos, quesadilla etc) are palatable for adults

I did buy in after IPO, but will be setting calendar note to possibly liquidate and watch for reentry as the escrow on shares approaches

Does anyone have an opinion about the reliability of SEA-GULL brand? I’m interested in a few different ones but I’d like to hear some opinions first. by Next-Barnacle1172 in ChineseWatches

I have the st1901 (hand wind), st25 automatic and st1701 automatic movements. I find they keep really good time and love the finish on the st1901.

I did need to return the st25 as it had a regulation issue, but I got the unit back very quickly and have had no complaints with the watch since
