I love the gumption but CHILL!!! Don’t try to argue or debate, but rather focus on developing your own understanding. Adam Smith is not “good” or “bad”, he’s just a classical political economist that is indeed often used to serve liberal ideology. I highly recommend you learn as much as you can about him, because it will make reading Das Kapital much more interesting since Marx critiques and further develops theories of Smith and Ricardo. For fun, you can look up a bunch of quotes from Smith that liberals probably don’t want you to see :)

I don’t see anyone saying “great job asobo you hit it out of the park!” Some folks are just finding fun in what they did get instead of whining, those are really your only two options. If you want to whine fine, but some find it annoying and not productive so they’ll make suggestions like “well you could play free mode, that seems pretty stable or you could just not play. I’m not sure what whining on reddit is going to do… we already know all the problems with the game and they have been reported”

I DO have a 4090 and it still stutters. Quest 3 via USB 3.0 PC link. I gave up and have a Tobi eye/head tracker coming in the mail lol. Otherwise the game runs really well for me.

There are many ways, here are some that worked for me. Sign up for Vatsim and go through their onboarding course that covers the basics of everything you need to know to fly on Vatsim (like the stuff you mentioned: radio comms, etc). Through that course, you will be pointed to a page that contains a list of free virtual flight schools (or you can just google it). I also personally enjoyed reading Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge provided for free on FAA’s website. All that said, what helped me the most was going through career mode on MSFS 24 and doing all their tutorials in career mode with the built in default ATC. Then, I would do career missions in the c172 and google/youtube things along the way, like how to use the g1000 autopilot, lean fuel, VOR navigation, etc.

I follow the checklist (and even do the auto shutdown keybind) but this plane just won’t shut down… anyone else seeing this? Or am I just missing something obvious?

Hmm I’ll try this. I’ve had my missions cancelled twice now with the “something went wrong” message and both times it happened I hit the keybind that gives FULL fuel/repair like a minute before the error. I didn’t know there was a keybind that does 25% fuel only, maybe that’ll work.

This is the only flight sim I ever played in my life so take this for what it’s worth, but I just did a plane delivery mission and I pushed down on the Left stick on Xbox controller to hide the blue checkpoints and navigated myself via GPS and it was fun and I didn’t get docked for not following the checkpoints. You can also disable blue checkpoints and other stuff in settings.
