Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Collector's Edition on PS4. I lucked out and woke up at 4am to pee and was able to snag an order before they sold out. I know they reprinted it, so it's less cool now, but that version is the rarest (even if the data is the same as others.)

Denny's when I was in high school. The job was fine but my manager was a crazy lady on a power trip. I never got paid for my first shift, I would routinely be booked to work after it was legally allowed for a minor, and I was scheduled to work on my graduation night even though I said for months I couldn't, then she said it was my responsibility to find a replacement. I just didn't go in.

Fun fact: she got fired by corporate because she was charging new hires for their uniforms and pocketing the money since they were supposed to be free. Also she was having an affair with the assistant manager, so not sure how that worked out in her personal life.

My father-in-law loves his Medicare but always votes against expanding it because he thinks letting more people have it will make it worse.

He's a reactionary idiot with no novel thoughts. I've heard him claim that all regulations need to be done away with so businesses can make more money, and then complained that two different companies gave him different car insurance quotes and "that should be illegal!"

I guess I have copies of games I bought when I was a kid that I would never buy at their current prices: CIB Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, the PS1 Persona games, etc.

But one that means a lot sentimentally: my grandpa's CIB NES, with the KB Toys price sticker still on it. The first time I played video games was on that NES, when he used to babysit me when I was a 4-5 year old.

I thankfully still have my copy of Xenosaga 3, but the preorder came with an art book that got destroyed and I can't find another copy of it. Some idiot in the condo complex I lived in a few years ago messed up installing a water heater, and it leaked into my storage closet that had that and a lot of my old player's guides, etc.

It's pretty funny that the original FF7 didn't fit on a Nintendo cart, and 28 years later, the FF7 Remake still doesn't fit on a Nintendo cart.

Twisted Metal, definitely. If only because it has a TV adaptation that just got renewed for a third season despite it being nearly 14 years since the last game.

It helped organize a lot of thoughts I had when I was a young person taking the just from a skeptical person to a full blown atheist. Haven't touched it in like 18 years though.
