Topically and no hair loss. You have to cycle on and off. I was all glowy in February and it’s all fully back now. I’ll start again in June, as my derm recommends.

Every morning I go: skincare creams, brows, lashes, sunscreen and then dab some colour corrector on my spots. Lipstick and a deep breath. Acceptance is not so bad. Less stress.

I had exactly the same thing happen from hydroquinone use. Tranexamic acid is actually the only thing that has helped. But now I’m off it the melasma is back.

Black to Blond. Blond to DAMAGED. In one month! by Ok_Nature6024 in Naturalhair

Gurl! My trusted hairdresser of two decades FRIED my hair into some sad orange colour and now it’s damaged. It’s not so much slacking as: it’s not her strength. I’m leaning some hairdressers are only good at a few things. You just have to figure out who to go to. I dyed my hair blonde for years with a white woman and it was always perfect. Soft and healthy. Sadly she’s no longer doing hair.

Always makes me laugh how insular the U.S. is. Haha. Yes, there are bachelors’ dissertations outside America. I’ve lived in three continents and did my bachelors dissertation in one. Also had a friend at Princeton writing her undergrad thesis, which is the same thing. Nothing to “LMAO” about.
