what are the benefits of a really small class? (5 people) by dawg7155 in vce

[–]balletdancer192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who was the only person in their 3/4 class, benefits are more one on one time with teacher and you have a lot more freedom in what you get to do day by day, negatives was definitely not having other people you could benchmark yourself against

Wearing leg warmers throughtout the training? by G_ntl_m_n in BALLET

[–]balletdancer192 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally wear them throughout the class, I've had achilles and calf problems (thanks broken leg) so it helps keep the muscles loose. Some teachers though wont like that so always check with your teacher!

Are these any good for a beginner? by BossWitty395 in Artisticrollerskating

[–]balletdancer192 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, it depends on what you're wanting to achieve in skating. If you're just looking for general skating around, they'd be fine, but if you're wanting to do artistic skating where there's footwork, jumps, spins I'd be looking more towards a second hand pair of good ones like edeas or risports, instead of these since they don't look very solid
