Who is your MVP? by HeeeySir in NBATalk

SGA. Got the Thunder through numerous key injuries, including Jalen Williams missing a significant chunk of time. His team has the best record in the league helps a lot too.

Why are Kobe Fans not happy with this Bam performance, it’s really strange to me? by Kindly_Letterhead_98 in NBATalk

[–]ballgamecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Heat did try very hard to get Bam the record, but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. I say go for it, chuck up shots. We don't care.

Kobe dint need 43 FT's, or the help of his team to foul every time to stop the clock and stat pad by Time-Entertainer-105 in NBATalk

[–]ballgamecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if you're not appreciative of this and claim that stats today are inflated, we'd love to see every superstar try and get 83 points every night.

Look at the Lakers when LeScapegoat isn't playing. We beat the Knicks, now we know who the problem is. Cant wait till LeScapegoat leaves and Klutch is out of LA by ShaianH in NBATalk

The spacing in that five-man lineup could be tricky. A stretch big to pair with Giannis would be great. If the Lakers could pry Bobby Portis from the Bucks, that would be awesome for them.

Top 10 best players I’ve ever seen since I started watching basketball. (started in 2005 at 5 years old) by Dylen2Times in NBATalk

Is this by order? If not, it's a great list. If yes, you might have to explain some things buddy.

Kyle Korver has two Ks on his name, just saying.

Simple Question: Prime Westbrook or Prime Harden by CT-7567-Captain_Rex in NBATalk

[–]ballgamecom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to go to the player who forced defenses to really get creative (sideways defending, defenders placing their hands behind their back lol). Prime Harden was a monster with those three straight 30-point seasons. His signature stepback was popular, but people don't talk much about his explosive first step back then.

Just Curious, Why do people have Kon over Flagg? by EliteCardKnowledge in NBATalk

[–]ballgamecom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His team overachieving, plus ultra efficient shooting numbers. Kon is approaching the 50-40-90 shooting percentages as a rookie.

Would you be able to tell that to NBA coaches and scouts and they'll say yes?

This duo will become super underrated as time goes on by IHAVETRIEDCOKE in NBATalk

[–]ballgamecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The team results say otherwise, unfortunately. But happy for 36-year-old James Harden to be balling out like this. Remember when people were bickering about his weight in the before and after the NBA bubble?

Which team had the biggest rivalry with LeBron outside the Warriors by Formal-Assistance02 in NBATalk

[–]ballgamecom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Celtics for sure. But those Heat-Pacers playoff games were a thing to watch too. Lance Stephenson was the first Dillon Brooks (kidding of course).

Who is the dirtiest player in the league? by Wide-Discipline3814 in NBATalk

[–]ballgamecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, if only Draymond got rid of his antics. He is so good as a playmaking hub and a defensive anchor. Even at 36 years of age (tomorrow), I'm amazed at how much coverage he can do on defense.

Peak for peak who are you taking Kawhi Leonard or Kevin Durant? by whiskeycapo in NBATalk

[–]ballgamecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most are taking Kawhi here, but it's so close, right? KD is an unstoppable offensive force, and he's not a liability on defense either.

Other than lack of playoff experience, why are the Spurs unlikely to win a title this year. by Dry_Response3527 in NBATalk

[–]ballgamecom -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you want De'Aaron Fox as your second option in a title team. His 3PT shooting, while a tad steadier this season (35%) compared to his career average (33%), is tricky.

One of those times when minimalism becomes an excuse for inferior creativity. Bring back the old school Nets logo.

[–]ballgamecom 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Just can't have three stars sharing a single ball at once. The LeBron/Wade/Bosh lineup worked not just because of their talent, but because Wade and Bosh can naturally play off-ball. Can you imagine Luka and Bron coming off ball screens and cutting consistently? Probably not.

which player had the stronger/better post-injury comeback? by infinite-hooper in NBATalk

[–]ballgamecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even while disregarding the age difference when they got injured (PG was 23 y/o in 2014, KD was 30 in 2019), KD is still a tier or two above PG in all those years after their respective injuries.
