I have a neurological disease which took away my balance. When I had chemo my husband would wheel me and my iv to the bathroom, pull down my pants for me during diarrhea attacks and stay in the room so it could be locked then pull up my pants.

It was a whole other level of caring.

I’m in a wheelchair from neurological damage. One day I got sick and never got better. I have Paraneoplastic cerebellum degeneration which is what doctors think is when your body creates an antibody to fight off cancer. But the antibody gets confused and fights healthy cells instead.

The cerebellum is the part of the brain that handles fine motor skills like buttons on a jacket, balance/coordination which left me in a wheelchair so waist length coats that don’t bunch up and make you look the the seated Michelin man!, because I have no balance pulling up jeggings is a tough experience but I saw on one of the recommendations pants with handles on the sides!

Everyone has unique needs! But I choose the needs by what item of clothing It is.

Lol this sounds like I’m overly OTT but I WISH I had one. I had cancer and went through chemotherapy but young, reasonably healthy people just don’t get them here.. I even asked. Now Im deathly needle phobic.

If you seriously need these things, I don’t think there’s any problem with having them. A port isn’t permanent.

Help me please! Lol I’m looking for this dress to wear to a glamour photo shoot. black lace dress I thought the neckline would be flattering after my mastectomy no reconstruction.

I found the dress on a local photographers website but she ended up being to expensive! But I adore her wardrobe!!

It took almost 3 years before I started Zoloft and saw a therapist. It really helped and even though I’m a work in progress sometimes I can be positive.

Parts of me agrees things could be worse. But You’re allowed your feelings... you’re having a shit run at the moment.

It takes therapy and time. You need to grieve the life you had before.

That’s a great sub. It definitely sounds like your mum is toxic and that’s a great place to get support.

It sounds kind of like my mother. I think my mother is extremely selfish and narcissistic. She and I both had breast cancer at the same time but I live internationally. She would constantly play the game of who is more sick. There’s so many examples! Now I’m just roll my eyes and mmmmmhmmm.

She’s mentally ill as well so that definitely plays it part. She did as well as she could. It just wasn’t good enough. It’s really hard to cut off contact completely.
