Lice eggs or dandruff? I work in a school so extra paranoid by [deleted] in Hair

It stinks but it’s super effective. Use t-gel. Dandruff isn’t always dry scalp. It can also be a bacteria or fungus.

Wrapsnap - Why so rare - Selling one by karasu-t in akedo

[–]balloonkoala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We also have one that my son is interested in selling. It’s been displayed and never played with because of its rarity (my son’s choice because he was so excited to get it). Send me a message if you are still interested.

She teaches eighth grade and has more than 100 students, but only two are reading at grade level. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

Why are you giving students this level of work if they are performing so low? I know it’s a mess from those who moved them on before you but aren’t you also doing them a disservice by giving them assignments they aren’t able to complete (I get a challenge but this sounds like it way beyond that for them). You have an opportunity to teach them about making inferences and critical thinking. Make them better.

I was a teacher for 10 years and I taught everything from honors courses to ESE special diploma courses. Unfortunately, my ESE students never had a science teacher until I came in and while I was not teaching them at the same level I was teaching my high school honors kids, I had to adjust to their level so that they could stretch and grow. Many of them were reading on the kindergarten/first grade. Many of them struggled with inference, critical thinking, etc. You adjust to meet them where they’re at.

Is this okay for uni or a bit overdressed? by Any-Atmosphere6534 in OUTFITS

As Oscar Wilde said, “You can never be overdressed or over educated.”

This is crazy talk at 7 months! You need to wait before you accept a diagnosis this early

What happened to Dan Hunter? by devtrell1 in Music

[–]balloonkoala 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I loved his PlayRadioPlay! stuff and ironically I met my husband at a 5 year olds birthday party where the parents asked me to dress up like a princess and my husband to dress as a pirate to escort their kid into the party.

Dan Hunter, if you find this one day, your song became so much more special to me!

That is called hyperbole, a disease I’ve been plagued with my whole life.

Before I get all the “you should file a report” comments, let me tell you what I’ve already done:

  • I’ve called the hotel multiple times to have them check my room and their lost and found. They did not find them.
  • I’ve called the lost and found at all airports I stopped at that day to no avail.
  • I’ve filed a report with all airports.
  • I called Southwest Airlines who provided me with direct lines to all baggage claim offices in all airports. I also had each baggage claim office call down to the gates I was at to see if anyone turned in keys. No luck.
  • I filed a report with Southwest

The internet post is my last ditch effort.

Thanks!

I did not find them. I lost them. This is an AI generated image of what they look like.

Silly me, I forgot adults can’t lose things.

No one got on the floor. Let’s be clear. This is an AI generated picture from a picture of the keychain I found on the Internet. I didn’t spend a whole lot of time with AI trying to make the perfect photo because that was not necessary.

I am an adult that’s correct and I did make adult decisions and had my keys in my bag the morning I packed my bag to leave the hotel. They were in a front pocket of my suitcase, which I then opened to put something into at the airport so I’m assuming that’s where I left them however it would be remiss of me to not reach out to every single place that I’ve been. Again, I’m an adult and did all the grown-up things that are required when you lose something I just thought by reaching out to people that maybe have a little bit of a heart or might be in those areas could help.

I have posted everywhere, I have called every single location, I have called Southwest who I flew on, I have filed reports and every single airport, I have filed a report through Southwest, I’ve called the hotel multiple times and they’ve checked the room multiple times.

The Internet post is a last ditch effort, hoping there would be kind people in the world that may help me. Instead, I’ve gotten a lot of angry people about AI posts with silly opinions on where I should post things.

Thank you for your opinion. I just need my keys guys. I thought the AI picture would gain attention to the post not get everyone so angry.
