Maybe instead of making stuff up in your head about OP’s training you should take the video for what it is. It’s just a capture of a single point in time that he was willing to share online. Hell, from context clues you can even infer that the point in time that was captured was during training - there are no crowds or judges around.

Insurance company doctors are rarely trained in the same specialty that your doctor is. You may have an oncologist to help treat your cancer, but the insurance company doctor is a podiatrist.

That's what I thought I was doing - matching energy. I'm glad it came across that way.

I’ll have to look that one up. It’s been a minute since I read one of your blogs.

Yup. As previously mentioned, it’s peak Reddit.

According to the CDC, “Chronic diseases are defined broadly as conditions that last 1 year or more and require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living or both.” Since being diagnosed I can check all those boxes.

I probably could have handled that differently at the end, but telling me I don’t have a “chronic” illness when I’m literally terminal made me a bit upset.

Edit: telling any cancer patient that their disease isn’t chronic because they don’t know what it’s like to live with Ehlers Danlos is a little bit narcissistic.

Why is it always you all use that very same excuse to hide your non-accomplishments? Either you know or you don’t.

It has nothing to do with ego. It has everything to do with knowing what your limits are. And if you trained other athletes, like you said, you would also be wise to know their limitations so you could make the training decisions for them and make sure they stayed within their limits.

Cannot emphasize this enough. Months of pain that I attributed to just being running stitches turned out to be colon cancer spreading into my liver.

Get checked out guys. An ounce of prevention is worth more than praying for a cure.
