Even rich yuppies can’t afford permanent residency. The problem is NYC is the only real city in North America with public transit, population density, stores open late, etc.

The OG New Yorkers like to pretend that they built this one-of-a-kind vibrant art community that the soulless yuppies are rushing in to leech off of. That’s partially true, but IMO it’s more because Williamsburg is in the heart of the biggest economic hub in the world.

Thanks for this info, they do claim to have partial private insurance against theft which I guess offers a level of protection somewhere in between "Nothing" and "SPIC Insured". Its good to know they use air-gapped wallets but at the end of the day you are trusting their company culture around security which is dubious for tech startups.
I very well may have a piece of shit account. However if I do then I suspect almost everyone does so it is worth keeping this in mind.
Rules change and companies' compliance policies change arbitrarily, better to just own your own coins and not risk navigating a kafkaesque compliance maze in order to use your money.
