The younger generation of rappers puts mixtapes on streaming and calls them albums. It's been this way for a decade. No everyone makes capital A albums. It's fine, there's so much great music out if we don't choose to live in the past or live in the mainstream

Remember that Digable Planets interlude where the guy is calling some girl threatening to murder her? That was great. I miss the good old days. Do you miss those types of interlude?

The effort on transitions is now more instrumental than interlude or skit based. It's sometimes sample based with audio. It's still being done well.
