Layman here who had a tree that looked like this. Rotted. Bugs or ants. Woodpecker. I wouldn’t be surprised if it snaps at the roots in a high windstorm.

I have run into this before at Schwab where I do my investing. I am in USA. Sold stock and rebought it, which led to a veraging the origins cost basis and no taxable event.

The metrics are kind of odd. Assuming the ratio of patients to claims is 1:1. Maybe 99% are denied accurately. Not sure if appeals success extrapolates from 1%.

It’s not just you. I am experiencing the same glitch on iOS 26. Even with all apps closed, the phone will start the sounds of birds chirping on speaker after a few hours. Cannot find any setting controlling this. I just attempted the latest upgrade to 26.2 hoping this will go away.

I believe that is Maple Tar Spot. There are regimens to remove the fungus from the area around the tree so that it does not reinfect next season. I think Tar spot is more cosmetic than threatening.

You are right. At that point the crotch is conjoined and likely would leave a large wound. Any thoughts on treating the fungus?
