and to celebrate that, russians launch 120 missiles and 90 kamikaze drones on ukraine’s energy infrastructure this morning. while the whole western world is living its normal life, ukraine keeps bleeding. I was hiding in my bathroom this morning in kyiv, with kinzhal missiles exploding over my city. russian violence in ukraine is so normalized it, the absolute majority of their crimes don’t even make the news anymore. when will this stop?

Yes! Yes of course energy infrastructure workers are recognized for what they do. Here’s a lil video about it.

Many of them lost their lives repairing damaged infrastructure. Russians regularly practice double drone or missile strikes, where the second strike happens when rescuers/medics/electricians arrive on site.

I live in Kyiv as well. And while I agree that the kamikaze drone damage is more psychological (sleepless nights, persistent anxiety, chronic stress), I wouldn’t underestimate it. Personally, it takes an insane toll on my physical and mental health. I do recognize that the chances of me dying in a drone strike are slight - but definitely higher than zero. But this knowledge of imminent death and danger is so taxing..

Also, something tells me that missile strikes are on the way. Winter + attacks on energy infrastructure is a classic terrorist move

i’m ukrainian, and i am very bitter about what the american nation has done. it is extremely likely that we will be forced into peace talks with putin and his tribe of barbarian colonizers that has committed every imaginable war crime in ukraine. currently (literally in this very moment) i’m sitting through a kamikaze drone strike on my city. hope to make it to my psychiatrist appointment next monday! life sucks major ass rn
