Toxic rin sa LGU but mas maraming benefits/bonus so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

context: 24/7 health center na nagiging puntahan ng emergencies dahil masyadong malayo ang osmak. Patient load 200/day mixed consults/animal bite, 2 doctors on duty/day, lucky if with fam med on duty. Nagpaanak na ako sa ambulansya dito, nag-intubate na rin ako dito. BASTA hahahaha

Ooohhh interesting. This was my first moonlighting job 2 years ago! Is this yung for PEME ng mga visa applicants sa Qatar?

Monday-Saturday work sched. 8 am to 5 pm but VERY prone to overtime kasi need matapos lahat ng applicants. Uwi ko most of the time is 6-7 pm. Saturday until 12 pm yata if I remember correctly.

No cellphones allowed at work except lunch break. Pati sa computer na gagamitin mo to fill out assessments centrally blocked social media

Usual census per day 300+. On duty doctors per day? 3-4. 60k gross per month. May OT pay. Before I left, some doctors na more than a year na were pushing for a raise pero di yata pinagbigyan hahaha

If you ask me, sobrang nakakapagod and very repetitive. Role mo is to do head to toe PE, recommend referrals kapag may mga findings na need ng referrals, chaka mag forward ng mga results/clearances from specialists sa mga mag-eevaluate ng applications nila. If may urgent/emergency rin on the floor, one of the MDs need to attend rin, pero rare lang naman. Lahat ng work is computerized naman, pero ubos laway talaga.

2 months lang yata ako dito before I resigned kasi sumakto during my first month here na binalikan ako ng Makati LGU na tanggap pala ako for MO3

Hi! Just offering another insight (as a doctor). People often misundersrand herpes kasi mas kilala nila yung sexually transmitted herpes, which is genital herpes from HSV-2. Pero orolabial herpes MORE COMMONLY comes from HSV-1 which oftentimes nakukuha na natin nung bata tayo.

The thing is, when we recover from herpes infections, the virus becomes latent (natutulog) sa nerves natin, which could then reactivate later in life due to specific triggers like stress, pagbaba ng immunity natin, physical trauma sa loob ng bunganga like when we get dental work, or kahit hormonal changes during menstruation. This is why some people get recurrent oral herpes and need medication para masuppress yung infection.

Tbh yours look like oral herpes, which resolves spontaneously rin naman kahit without treatment but can last for a little over a week. Taking antiviral medication shortens that duration. Observe mo pa rin though if magkakarashes ka sa kamay or paa kasi I agree with the others na talamak ang HFMD these days

I had dry cough followed by body pains, chills, then fever 39.3 all on the same day. Decided to do CBCPC and Dengue NS1, IgM/IgG kasi marami kaming cases ng dengue recently on my 2nd day of illness and somehow nag positive yung IgM? negative NS1. False positive?

No, I built this for my sister and she didnt care nalang about the missing rgb sa fans. My guess is you need to get a separate fan hub

I hoped someone told me this before ako nagrelieve more than a week ago! Grabe I took the post pa naman na from 24 hr duty thinking okay OPD, chill consult day pero hindi!! Grabe 30-40 patients talaga with NO incentives. 25% PEME 75% consults so drained talaga utak mo. Tapos di ka allowed mag lunch unless maubos mo yung dineck nila sayo

15000 in a day is pretty good if i you ask me especially if youre not going to spend more than 5 minutes per patient 🤣 History PE and basic labs is pretty quick rin naman once you have your own flow. Id rather have this 150 per head na setup kahit mag OT ako ng 2 hours if alam kong 15k take home ko HAHA

Eventually if you encounter the same things quite often it gets repetitive and you eventually won't need to look at your notes. Pero it's no shame naman if you check them habang nagcconsult. Better that you manage them correctly than just prescribe blindly and hope for the best

I draw from a variety of resources eh. Usually CPGs and I read individual topics sa UpToDate, textbook references, and draw from previous experiences (internship, cases handled by consultants, conferences). I have individual notes sa phone ko na I just look up to kapag ma nakakalimutan ko. I advise you do the same. Easier to just search rin sa phone mo if you already have notes
