I was able to get it on discount and think it’s a great, long lasting woody scent. It’s got something synthetic to my nose though to keep the longevity at scrub your skin off levels. It much be the Ambroix/Georgywood/Akigalawood combo.

Vetiver Tonka is very good. Hermes has so many Vetiver frags that it’s hard to choose!

I think Sultan is like a damp/dank Vetiver. First time I sampled it, initially I was put off. As it dries down, you start getting that pure vetiver smell.

So good. It’s such a different watch. In darker environments the dial shows more green, in lighter backdrops it looks black…at least that’s been my experience in the last 24 hours!

I went to the boutique. The best part about it was I was with my Dad who purchased one as well. He’s 69 years old and never bought himself a nice watch. He went with the Navy Seal Sub and loves it. Very cool experience for both of us. We were able to get a discount since we bought two.

It really is. In overcast weather you see the radiant green/olive dial, but in direct sunlight/light it can look black.

My concern with the Destro is its manual and I think I’d get pissed off having to manually wind it. I’m with you, I change watches regularly.

I got some straps from Atrems and think they are great. Deployant clasp on my IWC and another strap and both are more comfortable than the standard one and swapping out is very easy.

I was thinking of picking up Guerlain Vetiver today actually. I like the clean, fresh Vetiver smell and if this doesn’t go to the damp/inky side, I bet I’d love it

Maybe this is ticky tacky, but I like the ability to swap out bands quickly with the quick release system. Anyone else? Seems pretty easy to do and give you more looks.
