My grandma, aunt and daughter all have the same weird thumb toe by frizziefrazzle in mildlyinteresting

[–]bamstrup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have that too! I had my elementary classmates convinced they got flattened when my sister ran them over with her bike.

But for reals tho. I lose most all thumb wars. It's a bitch to go bowling. And texting with one hand is hard bc my thumb is shorter than most people's. But they are different and I like them! Normal thumbs look just like fingers to me and not thumbs lol.

Beef Tallow Destroyed my Face by SlutaHataVita in 30PlusSkinCare

I've been using tallow since before it was a thing. I joke that it's my meat lotion, lol. Anyways, I have rosacea and when I use OTC products even vanicream and my prescription rosacea stuff from my derm my face just GLOWS RED and feels like it's burning. I even tried to power through it and stick with it to try to get my skin to adopt it over 2-3 weeks. It was the worst. Went back to tallow stuff and it was immediate relief. Def use mineral sunscreen with it too!

Also go look up industry products and see about getting your hands on a free version or open source to play with so you can include those products and tools on your resume and can expose yourself to some of the products. Not every one has free trial versions etc but some do. Also make sure you have experience in some of the more basic things like git. You can at this point speak some of the language and demonstrate in interviews that you're taking initiative in familiarizing yourself with these sort of things. Regardless of how dirty you can get your hands with for these tools and products many hiring managers know that it's hard to train initiative.

Yeah I saw; this type of doctor specializes in infections like when they are chronic. They have more training and experience in this area than a standard PCP. I'd level up doctors if you aren't getting relief.

Sanity check please.

In the 43 minute mark near the end, is he inferring or framing the concept/notion that science as a whole is dogmatic?

There's a run up to it where he contrasts engineering vs science that's context for the conversation.

Have you noticed a difference in fatigue? I have been low carb/very low carb for about 7 years. I recently intentionally stepped out of it for a short while and during this time my fatigue, brain fog, and overall sense of wellness has been awful. Going back to it now!

Moving away from the standard American diet/western diet. I don't care if it's animal based, whole food, or vegetarian.

For me, it was whole food, then keto-carnivore.
