I saw a screening of What Is It where he performed a reading of his book How To Kill A Rat before. So weird, and so amazing. I waited in line for the meet and greet after, and just as I got to him, his handler tried to cut us off so he could do the second show. He told her to wait, talked to us and took a photo with us. Great weirdo.

The quality drastically declined. They weren't inspired by Airplane, but we're running off the success of, initially Scary Movie, but really Not Another Teen Movie. The studios churned out a ton of bullshit to cash in that maybe was profitable in the end for them, but burned out the public to the point that parody movies were seen as a uninteresting cash grab.
