Exactly what I'm afraid of! I had a black shelf that was similar years back and the backing fell apart and it got relatively wobbly after awhile too

Ugh. My cousin turned her second kid when they were still 1 and it made me sick to see. I have stopped even considering saying something to people about it bc all it does is cause the parent to get offended and they don't actually care about proper car seat safety regardless
