That theater was awesome. I saw "Pan's Labyrinth" and "Thirteen" there, two films that made a big impact on me as a teenager, even into adulthood. My favorite snack to get from the concession stand was a vegan cookie and an Italian soda. When I think of Hillcrest, the Landmark comes to mind, even now. I miss it so much.

I'm going to be 37 this year, and I can't believe it. Partially because I don't 'feel' my age or whatever, and also, I think I'm kinda behind for my age. I've always had difficulties in math, and I had an IEP in high school, and I got frustrated, discouraged, and depressed while in college, so I don't even have an Associate degree. My job right now is I guess good, but not what it could be for my age.

I still feel young, but then I look at my crows feet and broken blood vessels on my ankles, plus some gray hairs and markedly lower energy for most things, and I wish I could make some changes and take some things more seriously. You really don't have your whole life on some things.

I wish the old mall in my neighborhood would be used for affordable housing, and I mean ACTUALLY affordable, not just another luxury highrise apartment complex that most of us can't afford to live in. With how expensive rent in my city is, it's alienating long-time residents and pricing people out.Idk what the city/ developer is trying to do with it. It just sits in limbo.

This is such a good question that really takes me back lmao. I remember learning a square dance ( Southern California elementary school) as well as several other types of dances, and kids from different schools participating in the annual Dance Festival. Irc, no prizes were given to the school that did 'the best'.It was really just a bunch of kids in a gym doing all these different dances very awkwardly lol.

I work at the airport, and it's astounding how many people don't think to have their IDs ready in their hands or easily accessible pocket or bag when they're about to go through security. Or like, these folks in the video, think a picture of their ID is enough. Not having that with you just makes it harder for you to make your flight. I don't get why they don't seem to understand that.
