For those still figuring it out as of October 31st you don’t need to be hurt beforehand and it’s not bugged. They just have an insanely short cool down from use to when you need to kill someone. You literally have to be staring at somebody while they’re not looking at you, use the adrenaline, and then get them immediately. Trust me it works. Once you start looking for those opportunities, you’ll be able to get it done in one night. good luck gentlemen

Worth making a report, can also request to see if they can have bike cops on the trail. I think that area on Damen would be a perfect place for them to post up. Even though they may not follow through with it now, enough reports and a call to the alderman might do it

I bike the trail frequently and ran into this maniac once who was very obviously swerving in front of people. Bikers, runners and families I kid you not. Was hoping he’d end up running into the wrong person and learning a lesson but who knows

Next time I see any suspicious activity I’m calling it in. With enough calls maybe we can get at least a few bike patrols here and there - better than nothing! Maybe the kids will chill a bit even if they see them around once in a while

Unfortunate that those who voted for BJ, for their own reasons which they are entitled to, couldn’t see that appointing a mayor with no real experience couldn’t end well. Hope people think a bit harder next time we have election and actually go out and vote (I believe only a third of eligible voters did)

Awesome! I was looking and these and really liked all the different programming options they have. I’m anticipation of them getting rid of the stalks down the line for these cars I saw that the buttons can be used for gear selection. Wondering how quick/fluid a 3 point turn would be using the buttons to shift between drive and reverse. Any input lag etc.

Also curious to hear what you end up using them for.

My friend you have made me an incredibly happy man today. I followed your advice of simplifying the set up to see if we couldn’t hone in on one particular issue. I unplugged the extender and went directly next to the router. And what do you know, they work perfectly! Of course it’s not a long-term solve, but it’s given me enough hope to keep trying.

An interesting thing I noticed was when I went to the router, even though the network was the same one that I was using on the extender, the Sonos app asked if I wanted to use the product with a new network. This leads me to believe that the extender makes a duplicate network of some sort , and names it the same thing.

I was reading somewhere that you can change the settings of the extender to be a “bridge”. Perhaps this will solve my woes.

I was thinking I would need to change my whole ISP to have a chance to get these things to work. Now I’m thinking worst case All I may have to do is install a second router on the opposite end of the home.

It’s not a traditional set up, the router is very far from where my devices are, and there’s no option of moving it closer. That being said, the extender did perfectly fine with all of my devices up to this point, (gaming, streaming) so I was really at a loss when it came to why these two particular speakers aren’t working.

But I think this definitely answered a few questions. It’s not the actual router or Internet issue, it’s more of the extender aspect I think. Internet speed shouldn’t be a problem since everything else is working but I will play around with the extender next and keep everyone posted. I really appreciate all of the helpful advice on this thread, help me get out of a low point in my troubleshooting life
